Set Attainable Goals
Realistic – not losing 50lbs in a month – rather 5 lbs in a month and repeating for 10 months

Goals should be focused towards the direction you want to take in your life – not irrelevant to overall purpose.

Whether on paper or on electronic device – they need to be laid out. Use positive statements such as “I will lose 5lbs. by June 1″ vs ” I will try to lose weight”
4. Develop Action Plan
You eat an elephant one bite at a time. Lay out the step by step necessary to achieve the goal.
5. Finish what you start
